Help preserve and share South Whidbey history by making a donation today…

The South Whidbey Historical Society works hard to preserve and share our south end community’s unique history.

2020 has been a strange, difficult year with the COVOID-19 pandemic, but, in a typical year, say, 2019:

  • Nearly 2,000 people visited our museum in Langley.
  • 18 Langley History Walking Tours attracted more than 225 people.
  • Nearly 3,000 people regularly followed our Facebook posts and videos and more than 7,000 people accessed our website.
  • All public school fourth-grade classes visited our museum.
  • Two Then and Now presentations drew heavy attendance.
  • Our 2nd annual bus tour on the Era of Fishing Resorts sold out.
  • Hundreds of people toured our cabins and farming equipment
barn during the Whidbey Island Area Fair.

We have great plans for 2021 once the pandemic ends, but continued efforts depend upon the donations we receive.

To that end, please consider making a meaningful gift to the South Whidbey Historical Society via the PayPal DONATE button above.

Donations to the South Whidbey Historical Society are very much appreciated and are tax-deductible.

You can also make donations of stock, property, or leave a legacy gift in your estate plan or will.  Please contact us to join our Legacy Circle.
