Childhood memories of the Fair

Sandy Peterson Nelson (left) and her sister Susie Peterson Blackstock stopped in at the Whidbey Island Fair today and found a photo of them as kids in the 1949 Kiddie Parade along with big sister Sharon Peterson Gould. They are on the left side of the photo in white dresses that their mother made for them. From left are Susie, Sharon, and then Sandy.

According to Sandy’s recollection, they took first place. If anyone know who were dressed as Raggedy Ann and Andy, let us know. Thank you, Tim Hull, for staffing the scrapbook room at the Fair and for taking the photo!
