If you come across old photos of South Whidbey taken from at least 50 years ago, family histories, local maps, deeds, old local newspapers, etc., please contact us at the South Whidbey Historical Society at [email protected] or 360-221-2101.
If our curator decides they would be good to add to our South Whidbey History collection, we can arrange to have the photos, letters or clippings digitized and the originals returned to you if you would like. Or, items could also be donated.
We recently received Langley butcher Bob Frear’s meat cleavers, saws and apron which are now a part of our collection.
We are also conducting interviews of people who remember what South Whidbey was like back in the day.
All this is made possible by your interest and support. Thank you! And, remember, the Museum is open weekends from 1 to 4 p.m.
